Start Claude Code with Bonsai CLI

The easiest way to start is with the Bonsai CLI:

Install Bonsai CLI

npm install -g @bonsai-ai/cli

Login to Bonsai

bonsai login

Start Claude Code

bonsai start claude
When you run bonsai start claude, you’ll automatically be assigned a frontier model at random. Use it as you normally would!
Stealth Mode: Model names are hidden to evaluate performance without bias. You’ll see fun codenames like cute-koala or angry-giraffe instead of the real model name. Model assignments reset every 24 hours.
Other AI assistants: Support for Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, and other AI coding tools is coming soon.
