Step 1: Start Claude Code with Bonsai CLI

The easiest way to start is with the Bonsai CLI:

Install Bonsai CLI

npm install -g @bonsai-ai/cli

Login to Bonsai

bonsai login

Start Claude Code

bonsai start claude
Other AI assistants: Support for Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, and other AI coding tools is coming soon.

Step 2: Start Using Models

Once configured, you can use any model with simple @mentions: 
@gpt5 Help me refactor this function to be more efficient

Step 3: Connect Your Subscriptions (Optional)

If you have an existing Claude subscription, you can connect it with Bonsai: 
bonsai sub link
Once connected, Bonsai will automatically use your subscription when you use Anthropic models.
